How we work

Five steps. No drama.

Most owners arrive expecting a sales process. There isn't one. Here's the whole thing, in order.

01

You text. We read it.

First text is free. Tell us what's broken or what's bugging you. One line is plenty. We read it same day and reply with a plain-English read on whether it's worth fixing, what it costs, and whether we're the right people to do it.

02

We quote. You decide.

If it's a fit, we send a per-thing quote. No retainer. No "discovery call." No Loom. Just "this is the work, this is the price." You say yes or no. If no, there's no pressure and no follow-up sales push.

03

We do the work.

We use AI heavily on the repetitive parts (drafting, auditing, photo triage, schema work) and human judgment on everything else. You don't have to manage us. You don't have to learn anything new. You go run the shop.

04

We text "done."

When the work is done, we send a one-line text with a link to whatever changed. No meeting. No report. If you have a question, you ask. If you don't, you don't.

05

You hire us again. Or don't.

Most owners text us back when something else needs attention. Some hand over the keys and we become their whole digital side. Either way, it's text-by-text, job-by-job. The relationship grows naturally.

The first text is free.

Tell us what's broken or what's bugging you about the digital side. We'll tell you straight whether it's worth fixing, what it costs, and whether we're the right people to do it.

Common questions

How fast do you reply?

+

Same workday, usually within a few hours. We're not a 24/7 emergency service — if your site is down at 11pm, we'll see it in the morning. But during business hours, the response is fast.

Do you sign a contract?

+

For one-off jobs, no. A quote and a confirmation email is the agreement. For larger projects (a full website rebuild, a multi-month tending arrangement), we'll use a short plain-English statement of work — one or two pages, no legalese, no auto-renew traps.

Do you use AI to write the work?

+

Some of it, yes — drafting copy, generating starter content, doing audits, processing photos. But a human reads everything before it goes out. We use AI like a power tool — it speeds up the boring parts, doesn't replace the judgment.

What if I don't like the work?

+

Tell us. If we got it wrong, we fix it. If we got it wrong AND can't fix it well, we don't bill you. We'd rather lose a job than ship something that embarrasses us.

Will you train my team?

+

Yes — we can document anything we set up so your team can keep it running, OR keep tending it ourselves. Most owners pick "keep tending it" because the whole point was to stop thinking about it.
